②　Noun を amount+unit please.
きって を 五枚 ください。

Lesson 01!

Yay! Start of the new course, Elementary 2!! Besides the original 11 people, we have 2 additions, girls~

O, we also have the other classroom as our classroom this time round~

The top guy left us to skip to Intermediate 1~ So KP and me are the top 2 now~ I don't wanna skip, I don't think I'm good enough, top guy skipped because he learned all these before~

So, today we learned numbers and their counters!!

⑥　円　＝　Money
⑦　匹　＝　Small Animals
⑧　頭　＝　Big animals
⑨　足　＝　Pairs of socks or shoes

⑪　台　＝　Machines
⑫　せき　＝　Ships
⑬　軒　＝　Houses
⑭　杯　＝　Cups
⑮　回／度　＝　Times
⑯　番　＝　Order/sequence
⑰　階　＝　Floors

There are many many more counters! Just like Chinese~ But Japanese is more complicated because the number accompanying the counters need to be changed, especially One, Three, Four, Six, Eight and Ten. So one has to be careful when using!

We were given only 15 minutes to memorise this list and then sensei tests us with random ones *sweats* I failed the ろっこ [６こ] T_T

⑲　Object を number+counter verb。

Lesson 18!

After going through the homework in the last lesson in the textbook, sensei told us to translate a conversation!!

Wow, I dunno how I did, I hope I didn't make too many mistakes!!

I was the 2nd one to leave, lol.. 10:04pm~ KP left a bit earlier than me but he made a huge mistake that sensei even told him [because she began marking it immediately XD], haha..

Omg, next next Tuesday will be exams!! We only have one more lesson before taking it! Because May 1, Friday, is Labour Day!! I'm so super happy, haha.. But I'll be happier when Vesak Day comes, HOHO!! SATURDAY!! Wahahaha, what a great escape from my job!!

Exam will include Listening, Katakana, Translation, Comprehension, etc, etc.. OMG, haha.. I'll clean my ears on the 5th of May!! XD

Lesson 17!

こんばんは！きょうはたのしかったです！

①　Place　で　noun　を　verb。 [Doing "stuff" "at" a "place"]

②　Place　に　noun　があります／います。 [The "stuff" is just there "at" the "place"]

せんせい told us to write 10 lines to introduce ourselves. I finished first. XD After we submitted it to her, she gave them out to us again but not our own paper! She wants us to mark another person's work!

I got the youngest classmate's paper, haha.. He made the same mistake for all questions, haha..

At the MRT, our group of three increased to group of 5! XD So happy, lol.. They live in Seng Kang too! Cool!

Today's the last lesson in the textbook, lesson 10~ Next lesson.. What will we be doing? Next next lesson will be the final exam, I think!! OMG!! がんばります！！
