Long time no blog in here! How are you?

I was reminded of this blog of mine while answering some of my friend's questions on learning Japanese~! During my absence from this blog, I took the N3 and N2 tests and passed them with flying colours without attending classes~! LOL!

I updated my sidebar with instructions on how to use this blog and my test results.

I also found a great website for practising a particular type of N2 questions! Vocabulary!

この間、滝沢秀明がシンガポールを選んで、滝沢歌舞伎の公演があった！火曜日に見に行ったんだ！本当に凄かった！さすがジャニーズだ！超真剣！シンガポールのために作ったパフォーマンスもすごく感動しちゃった！タッキー、宏光と郁人もその真剣な表情が私の中に！感動！今週末両日も行くよ！楽しみ！

N3 Lesson 03 and 04!

Tutorial of lesson 2 of the textbook. We learned about ほど。

I also became more aware of the humble and honorific form of the verbs.. Must really revise all the forms!! XD Luckily Nakai sensei gave us a complete list!! XD

N3 Lesson 02!

こんばんは

今日はレッスン1の練習をしました。難しくなかったですけど、集中力が大変必要でした。私は寝ませんでしたよ！自慢します！(^з^)-☆
    
会話の時も得意でした！恥ずかしいけど、事実です！

N3 Lesson 01!

Finally, I got to continue my Japanese studies!! Finally I will take my first JLPT this coming Dec!! XD

We learn more variations to grammar that we have already learned!

① 合成語 Compound Words
ー ❶ 〜口 (ぐち) to indicate direction or location

Noun + 口 = 東口、中央口、窓口、etc

Verb stem + 口 = 出口、入口、上り口、下り口、etc

ー ❷ 〜中 (じゅう)  to indicate a time period, all through that time

一日中 (いちにちじゅう)、一晩中 (ひとばんじゅう)、一年中 (いちねんじゅう)、etc

ー ❸ 〜中 (ちゅう) ing in a more formal way

食事中、電話中、etc

② 〜って／〜て replace と in informal speech

彼は使うなって言いました。
彼は使うなと言いました。

彼は何て言っているんですか。
彼は何と言っているんですか。

③ (Verb in え line) ばいい can or should, more formal than 〜たらいい

104で聞けば分かります。

電車に忘れ物をした時は、どうすればいいですか。

この資料を借りたいんですが、誰に聞けばいいですか。

④ ～というのは、～っていうことだ A means B

「立ち入り禁止」というのは入るなっていうことだ。

⑤ 外来語 Foreign Words

This one we know. Haha..

All foreign words are written in Katakana but not all Katakana are foreign words ^_~

Lesson 05!

We revised last lesson. The replacement of koto with the particle, no.

Today, we learned the replacement of hito, tokoro and mono with the particle, no.

① バナナを食べているのは誰ですか。
Who is the one that is eating banana?

② 田中さんがバナナを食べているのはどこですか。
Where is the place that Tanaka-san is eating banana?

③ 田中さんが食べているのはなんですか。
What is the thing that Tanaka-san is eating?

Next, we learn about のに。

There are two types of のに：

① In order to.., for the purpose of..

この機械は故障を調べるのに使います。
This machine is used to check whether it is broken or not.

② Although, even though

彼は風をひいているのに泳いでいます。
Although he is having a cold, he is swimming.

Lesson 04!

Today we learned about the "の" that can replace "こと" in most cases.

We did lotsa speaking practice and I think that's really good and lacking in my previous sensei's class!

But nervous.. XD -_-"

Lesson 03!

こんばんは

今日のレッスンは速いので、嬉しかったです！ｖ（＾＿＾ｖ）♪

Uses of te-form.

～ておきます。

Type ①
友達が家に来るので、お菓子を買っておきます。
Because my friends are coming to my house, I buy sweets beforehand.

Type ②
暑いから、エアコンをつけておきます。
Because it is hot, I leave the air con on.

～てあります。

電気がついてあります。
The light is switched on on purpose.

～てみます。

刺身を食べたことがありません。美味しいかどうか食べてみます。
I have never eaten sashimi before. I don't know if it's nice, I will try to eat it.
